Want to Support Other CS Teachers?

Become a Coach

Work closely with 2 teachers in 1:1 coaching sessions to provide ongoing support and encouragement through the school year via quarterly sessions and asynchronous communications. Coaches receive professional development prior to beginning work with teachers and are supported in their growth as a CS instructional coach through monthly academic year sessions with other coaches.

Earn a stipend up to $5700 for participating.

Work 1:1 with a CS coach during the academic year to set goals, implement strategies to meet them, and receive supportive feedback to improve your teaching

*Note for perspective coachees: 

All applications will be reviewed by the project team. Priority will be given to U.S. public high school CS teachers with less than three years of computer science teaching experience and those who have not previously participated in any other coaching program. Teachers who are accepted into the Coaching for Equity program will be required to submit a Principal/Administrator Approval Form indicating that they have received approval to participate.
